Hours of Operations
The library offers adult and children programming, interlibrary loans, reference services, genealogy, tax forms, voter registration, and copier. Customers may borrow books, large print materials, DVDs, Blu-rays, books on CDs, music CDs, magazines, and can access E-books and Audiobooks through Hoopla, Kanopy, and Libby services. The library provides computers with Internet access and wireless access to the internet. The library belongs to the Evergreen Indiana consortium of libraries. Evergreen Indiana cardholders have access to materials from participating libraries throughout the state.


The Board meets the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the library conference room. The library board trustees are responsible for setting library policies, hiring a director, planning for the future of the library, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the library, and advocating for the library in the community. The board is comprised of seven residents of the library district. Each appointment is for a four-year term with term limits of four consecutive terms. The library board members serve without compensation.
