WIC Works In Indiana

The Women, Infants and Children's Program, WIC is a special supplemental food and nutrition program.

WIC services are designed to meet the special nutritional needs of:
  • Pregnant women
  • Breastfeeding mothers (up to one year after delivery)
  • Postpartum nonbreastfeeding mothers (up to six months after delivery)
  • Infants
  • Children up to five years of age
All persons who receive Medicaid, Food Stamps and AFDC are income-eligible for WIC.
