Violence Prevention Coalition
The Violence Prevention Coalition believes it can better serve victims of violence by joining together concerned parties and other partners in Jackson County to strengthen what services are available, by identifying service gaps and working together to meet those needs.

The Violence Prevention Coalition is the result of several Jackson County organizations joining together to fight violence as one. While each organization retains its own identity and agenda, the coalition allows those groups to work together to fight violence

Current coalition partners include the Jackson County CARe Initiative (Communities Against Rape), Jackson County Domestic Violence Task Force, Kids First-Child Abuse Prevention Council, Turining Point Domestic Violence Services, Host Homes/Safe Place, Healthy Communities/Healthy Youth, Girls, Inc., and Healthy Families of Jackson County. The coalition is always interested in adding new partners.
