Delta Delta Supported Projects

Camp Riley

Bradford Woods in Martinsville, home of Camp Riley, is a recognized leader in adaptive outdoor recreation and adventure challenge programming. And, Camp Riley's ongoing partnership with one of the nation's top pediatric health care facilities — Riley Hospital for Children — provides a special comfort to families who know and trust the Riley name.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

One of ESA’s major philanthropic projects is supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 1972, ESA adopted the hospital as its international philanthropic project. As a result of ESA’s relationship with ALSAC, the fund-raising arm of St. Jude, ESA raises well over $7 million in cash and pledges each year for the hospital.

St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility anywhere. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do more science, more quickly. Where doctors across the world send their toughest cases and most vulnerable patients. Where no one pays for treatment beyond what is covered by insurance, and those without insurance are never asked to pay.  America's 3rd-largest health-care charity, with a model that keeps the costs down and the funds flowing, so the science never stops.

Easter Seals

Since 1984, ESA members have generously supported Easter Seals, volunteering their time and resources to raise more than $5 million to help children and adults with disabilities needing Easter Seals services throughout America.

Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for more than 80 years. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals.

Local Charities

ESA Delta Delta supports the local community by volunteering and raising funds for local charities such as The Jackson County United Way, Anchor House, Jackson County Humane Society, Pregnancy Care Center, Race for the Cure, Christmas Basket Fund, Gift Lift, and Experience Works.

ESA Disaster Fund

The purpose of the ESA International Disaster Fund is to assist an ESA member whose home and/or personal belongings are destroyed or damaged extensively by one of nature’s causes - fire, flood, etc. Assistance may also be given when a member incurs heavy financial responsibility due to a debilitating illness or accident which involves her or the immediate family who reside in her home and for whom she is legally responsible.
